This year at the 8th Annual United Way Valero BBQ Showdown we had over 40 cooking teams compete in the showdown. Friday, October 1st, 2021 attendees got to enjoy Cajun Night where there was live music, a kids play zone with face painting and a bounce house, a cornhole tournament, and Cajun dishes from over 30 teams straight from the Gulf. Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 attendees got to enjoy the BBQ Showdown awards show, the kids play zone, and BBQ dishes from over 40 teams.
The 8th Annual United Way Valero BBQ Showdown was a huge success and raised over $210,000 – A record breaking year!
